The Tennessee State Museum
occupies 3 levels in the James K. Polk Center.
The donor of the polar bear was Colonel Landon Daniels. He
was a recognized big game hunter. The bear is currently on loan to the Oak
Ridge Children's Museum and has been a very popular attraction for young
people who have visited that facility.
